Audio Beta · Opus-first · Clean-room

Talk, listen, and watch the latency loop in one browser.

This page captures microphone audio, sends Opus chunks to the server, mirrors them into a playout queue, and polls that playout queue back into the browser so we can exercise a real talk/listen path without touching any proprietary code or protocol.

Session Controls

Talk Path

Capture the microphone in short Opus chunks, post them to the server, and optionally mirror them into playout.

The recorder will use the first supported Opus MIME type the browser exposes.

Listen Path

Poll the playout feed and render each packet as a queued audio blob. This is the beta loopback path.

Playback is idle.

If your browser blocks playback, use Prime Playback once after Start Listen and then continue.

Latency Control

Adjust the target buffer or let the server recommend a tuning move from packet timing stats.

Keep the budget tight for room performance. Tune upward only when the link demands it.

Packet Trace

The newest packets are shown here so you can see ingest timing, mirrored playout, and byte size at a glance.
